Overview
Apprentices will develop advanced skills and behaviours aligned with the Level 4 Senior Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship. The role typically involves overseeing housing operations, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation. Apprentices may also lead on business planning, financial oversight, and customer engagement—preparing them for senior roles such as Property Manager, Leasehold Manager, Supported Housing, or Neighbourhood Housing Manager.

They specialise in Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs) for young professionals and have over 500 units on their books. They strive to deliver fantastic service and value to their customers, and you'll be one of 3 property managers responsible for managing your own portfolio of properties. You’ll be the first point of contact for all your tenants, landlords and contractors.

WHAT will I get from working with Bristol Property Partnership?
- EARN: Starting at £17,000 per year, 37.5 hours per week.
- EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (finish at 5pm on Fridays).
- QUALIFICATION: Housing & Property Management Level 3 takes approximately 18 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?
Are you looking to start a career in property management? Do you enjoy problem solving and helping people? Are you looking for a busy, varied job role with customer contact?
Bristol Property Partnership are looking for a motivated, energetic apprentice property manager to join their small, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all there is to know about property management and lettings whilst gaining a professional qualification in the housing and property sector at the same time. Your daily tasks will include:
- Undertaking regular inspections of your properties to ensure they meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with tenants and landlords regarding maintenance work needed, or that you recommend, to keep your properties secure, warm and a great place to live for your tenants.
- Working alongside the sales and lettings team to ensure properties and rooms are re-let quickly for your landlords.
- Completing check outs when tenants leave and releasing deposits.
- Checking in new tenants and reviewing ongoing rents.
- Keeping all information up to date on property management systems and ensuring tenants and landlords are responded to promptly and actions needed logged and completed.
- Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
HOW does the Apprenticeship Work?
Working towards your Housing & Property Management Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including decision making & collaborative working, housing legislation, tenancy types, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
WHAT skills/qualifications do I NEED?
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 6-9 (including Maths & English).
- UK Residency – must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Great communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- A love of organisation and great attention to detail.
- Thrives on providing great customer service.
- Must have full driving licence and your own car.
