The Level 2 Administration Assistant Apprenticeship is designed for people beginning their career in administration or looking to build the core skills needed to work confidently and effectively in a professional environment.
Administration Assistants support the day-to-day running of organisations by managing information, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders, using digital systems, and completing essential administrative tasks.
Throughout the programme, apprentices develop practical knowledge, skills, and behaviours that can be applied directly in the workplace.

This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals beginning their career in an administrative role. Apprentices will learn how to support business operations, manage information effectively, communicate professionally, and use digital systems and software commonly found in modern workplaces.
They will gain practical experience in a variety of administrative functions including meeting and event support, information management, diary coordination, stakeholder communication, and data handling.

Unlike many apprenticeship standards, the Administration Assistant Apprenticeship does not include a traditional End Point Assessment.

You’ll work closely with both the sales and operations teams, learning the ropes of client communication, CRM management, and daily office administration while earning hands-on experience and support toward your qualification. Your daily tasks will include:

Working towards your Business Admin Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including the organisation, stakeholders, relevant regulation, business fundamentals, processes & external factors. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
