What do you do in the business?
As an experienced Apprenticeship Recruitment Consultant, I specialise in helping aspiring talent take their first step into meaningful, long-term careers. With a strong understanding of employer needs and candidate aspirations, I connect ambitious apprentices with the right roles across a range of industries, including Housing, Childcare, and Education. I work closely with employers and further education institutions to ensure a seamless recruitment process, matching the best candidates to opportunities that support growth and development. Through personalised guidance, I help candidates navigate their career pathways, while also providing employers with motivated apprentices who are ready to contribute from day one. With a passion for workforce development and a detailed understanding of apprenticeship programmes, I strive to make the recruitment process efficient, transparent, and impactful for everyone involved.
What’s your background?
With a career spanning more than ten years in both estate agency and recruitment services, I bring a unique blend of skills and experience to every client and candidate I work with. My time in the property sector helped me develop a strong ability to understand market trends, negotiate effectively, and offer clear advice on buying, selling, and renting homes. When I transitioned into recruitment across various sectors, I applied the same commitment to providing tailored solutions for businesses and individuals seeking the right talent or the right opportunity. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for exceptional service, attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to client satisfaction. Whether supporting first-time buyers in finding their dream home or helping employers secure outstanding candidates, I understand the importance of sound decision-making and personalised support at every stage. By combining my experience in both property and recruitment, I bring a broad perspective on how relationships, communication, and understanding client needs are key to long-term success. I take pride in building lasting relationships and consistently delivering results that help people and organisations thrive.
What’s the best piece of careers advice you’ve received or given?
The best career advice I can give—based on my own experience—is not to let the traditional route define your success. Build your own path through skills, experience, and passion. This will lead you toward a role you genuinely enjoy and feel fulfilled in. University is one option, but it isn’t the only one. Today, many successful careers are built through hands-on experience, self-taught skills, apprenticeships, and meaningful connections.
